What is Shore of the Dorahín?
Shore of the Dorahín is the story of an unknown race, the Dorahín. They live deep in a primeval forest, far from the realms of men. It is located at the edge of a continent that adventurers have only recently begun to explore.
Recently, boats have started washing up on the shore, carrying poor farmers trying to escape their fate on Breaker’s Isle. But their arrival is putting the uncontacted Dorahín at risk. Against the advice of his clan, Salfan the old has decided to take matters into his own hands and sacrifice himself to set a false tomb, aimed at capturing the threat posed by humans.
On this uncharted shore, you’re an unwanted guest.
The whole tomb is designed as a trap. Inside, you’ll encounter a handful of strange creatures, and you’ll have the opportunity to rescue some of Breaker’s Isle’s people as well as a captured Dorahín. If the group is not careful, they’ll face the brutal Ephemeral Stone Colossus and will encounter the tormented Shilfir, whose soul has been bound to the feral god of the forest: Sylvann.
It’s 5e and 5.5e compatible, set in a low-fantasy setting with a fairy-tale twist. It’s playable in a single session, at level 1, for 4–5 players. It’s aimed at beginner DMs and players alike, but it’s also a great one-shot for experienced players who love narrative-driven adventures that reward exploration.
Shore of the Dorahín is the first stone in our unfolding world: Songs of Lon-Gora.
